I don't know what operating system or screen reader you're using, but 
you could try the built in OCR feature in JAWS. Bring up the newsletter 
and try JAWS+space followed by a o and a d. This may perform OCR on the 
whole document. If that doesn't work, try a w instead of a d to do OCR 
on just the screen.
