In Windows 7 the keystroke control-E will usually bring you to a search panel including in Windows Explorer and Outlook's main panel.

You can just open the drive in Windows Explorer and then back tab to the search bar. Tye the name of the file you want to search for and press enter. There are a lot of different ways to do this, but this should work.
