Hi all,

How accessible is the Kindle app on the iPhone and iPad? Can you easily
navigate through the book, and can you take notes? I'm also wondering if
Kindle books can be read on the Mac.

Last summer I posted about an article on library accessibility I was
writing. The publication I was writing for passed on the piece, but I
have since found another (and I think) better venue. I'm talking about
how libraries can be more inclusive by using free or mainstream
technologies, like NVDA, Voiceover, Chromevox, and Windows 8 Narrator.

Since a lot of libraries use Kindle for some of their ebooks, I'm
mentioning how accessible that is in real life. My experience on Android
and with the Fire HDX is great. My experience with older Kindle devices
and the PC software is that these are fine for leisure reading, not for
the kind of detail oriented reading involved in studying or learning.

What is the experience on Mac and iOS?

Thanks.

Ciao
