Hi.
I have noticed a minor bug in the official JAWS 16 release. A version
or two ago, JAWS introduced two hotkeys which permanently alter the rate
of speech, giving the user a quick way to adjust the rate of speech
without the need to go into the Voices dialog. These keys are
ctrl-Windowsalt-pagedown and ctrl-windows-alt-pageup. In version 16,
these keys do work but they don't give you the "faster" and "slower"
messages that they should be generating. I have reported this bug to
Freedom Scientific and I will bet you dollars to donuts they'll have it
fixed in the next maintenance release.
