Don't know what to say Albert. This is straight from Microsoft.COM so if
they're tossing in bloatware I have to say it's typical Microsoft and
just one of the multitude of reasons I left that garbage behind several
years ago. When I go to the pages I get asked to complete their surveys
too, I just refuse. I haven't seen anything about contests, but then I
haven't installed and can't install Microsoft executables. I don't know
what platform they use to examine your system for compatibility with the
upgrades. I don't know if its a browser add-on or a stand-alone program.
Has anyone else gone through with this?
No Microsoft garbage used here, sent by a very satisfied Linux-Mint
<http://www.linuxmint.com/> user (a former disgruntled Microsoft user).
You could check out Vinux, Linux for the visually impaired
<http://wiki.vinuxproject.org/>.
This email and any attachments are not virus scanned either, that's up
to you poor Microsoft users to deal with.
I'd rather be a wild and wacky Linux Penguin than a docile,
domesticated, Microsoft sheep.
