Yes, Microsoft will not be putting out new security fixes for Windows
XP, so any security vulnerabilities found in Windows XP will not be
fixed. This will be true for any antimalware sofware and not just MSE.
You can still get Windows 7. I also don't think Windows 8 is that hard
to use unless you want to take advantage of it's touch screen features.
You will miss things like the start menu, but Microsoft is adding that
back in with updates to Windows 8.
