I too would download the documents and spreadsheets from Google Drive to 
work with in Libre Office, but just doing that would have left me out of 
the meetings where we'd collaborate together on a document. I felt that 
to do my job, I had to learn Chrome and Chromevox so I could work with 
Google Docs. I found that being competitive at work was sufficient 
motivation for me to learn a new access tool.
