Hi-

Right now, I am seeking a medication for reflux that I can afford.  So far, dexilant and protonix are gluten free but too expensive on my budget.

My doctor said that I could try pantoprazole by Actavis (the one by SUN may contain wheat starch, so that is out).  When I called Actavis (1800-272-5525)- they said it does not contain gluten ingredients but cannot say it is gluten free as they don't test for gluten.

Should I seek another medication from my doctor?  Or do you think it is reasonable to take pantoprazole by Actavis?  I will  need to be on it 2 months initially, and maybe longer.  My celiac is under control otherwise.

Thanks for any insight.
