Hi all,
Make web pages load much faster by stopping data from getting sent to
Microsoft, every time a web page loads, and here's how to do it:
step 1. Press windows key i for settings.
step 2. tab down 1 time, and you'll be in the list of things you can do
settings for.
step 3. Right arrow over to privacy, and press enter.
step 4. You should be on general, but if not, tab down till it says general.
step 5. Then, down arrow to diagnostics and feedback, and press enter.
step 6. Then, tab down to basic: send only your info about your device,
it's settings and capabilities, and whether it is performing properly.
It's a radio button, and if it is not checked, then uncheck it.
There is no apply button, and no ok button, so just press alt f4 to
close it.
When I did this, I'm getting faster web page loading in Jaws, and in
NVDA, web pages are loading so fast that NVDA doesn't have a chance to
tell me what web page just loaded.
My thanks to my computer guy, Rick, for giving me this tip!
Harry
