the October meeting of the Philadelphia computer Users' Group for the
blind and Visually Impaired is available as a recording for anyone to
listen to who may have missed the phone meeting. I started the meeting
by summarizing the past month's technology news highlights, both
adaptive and mainstream, followed by a lively discussion where the
callers discussed their experiences with iOS 8.1. We also had a brief
discussion of JAWS 16 and we finished off with a discussion of which
antimalware programs are or aren't accessible.
To listen to some or all of the meeting, you can call (712) 432-3903.
When prompted for your access code, enter 391477, followed by the pound key.
Our next meeting will take place on Friday, November 21. I'm making
this change as November 28, which is the last Friday of the month, is
during the weekend of Thanksgiving, which I think is likely not a good
time to schedule a phone meeting.
