Not sure if there any scanner enthusiasts on here, but in the early part of 2014 Uniden is going to be releasing some scanners that I guess will be easier for everybody to use. No idea, if the software will work with the screenreader, but from what I've read it sounds like the units themselves will be pretty accessible. These are newer truck tracker scanners, and they will do both project 25 phase 1 and phase 2 as well as all of the other trunking formats.
