No, I can't remember the number, but the technology is from the mid 80's.
The tmv-71 and ts-480 use the same chip.
I think the ts-570 does to, but not sure.

You know, depending on what Eric's priorities are, the high fidelity guys 
absolutely love the ts-850 and ts-870 radios.  I am not sure what they go 
for, or if parts are a problem.
