Harvey,

Glad that the online renewal process went well for you!

I applied on line in July of last year and got my old callback as a vanity
call.
Hope you are around for a long time!

73,
Jim

Subject: online license renewal

Last night at around 10 PM CST , I submitted my online application to renew
my ham license. I got a couple of error messages in the process, but I was
able to submit it. So I called the FCC support line today just to make sure
they received it and that I had done it properly. To my surprise, I was
told my renewal has already been granted, and I should receive the hard copy
sometime next week. I didn't think it could be processed anywhere near that
fast, so I would recommend this method for anybody applying to renew their
licenses. So unless I do something really bad, I guess the amateur radio
community is going to have to put up with me at least until May 24th 2024 if
I'm still around then. 73.

Harvey
