I've done the same thing.  BTW, there are three different 
locations you can store in your Stream favorites all monitoring 
14.300.  I found a couple repeaters using the word amateur as a 
search term in the internet radio search by name.  Tried to find 
the one listed in Oaklahoma City on Echolink so I could hear 
myself but it's not in the repeater or links areas on echolink.

I was messing around on ootunes, and I found a link for a 
receiver out of
New York, that monitors 14.300.
When their isn't a net on, neat place to check out your transmit 
signal in
to New York.
I listen on my stream, and transmit on a radio.  Their is a maybe 
20 second
delay.
