I also agree. SOmething has to be done as we mac users (and there are far more of us than "just a few") are growing in number. I have checked every way that I can and there appears to b no way to change how apple mail sends its messages. In fact, I have looked at one of the sent messages using a hex editor and it seems that apple mail isn't sending with those extraneous characters in each message. This clearly means that the fault exists elsewhere and there is nothing we blind mac users can do about it from our end. SO, telling those of us who use macs to take off just isn't going to solve the problem. Its just going to alienate us blind mac users who are also hams.

Now, I joined this group because its one of a very few that actually cater to blind hams, their specific knowledge and tips on how to operate radio equipment. I still want to participate. However, I am sensing a certain level of hostility toward myself (and others who use macs). It is making me feel less than welcome. I don't have the $2,000 it takes to get a proper windows machine with jaws on it just to satisfy 1 mailing list.

so, I think I shall shut up and just lurk.
