Hi Linda,

In answer to your question about learning CW, there are several
accessibility reviews on using CW training software, on the Active Elements
site.

There are reviews of the G4FON Koch trainer, and Ham Morse for the iPhone.

The link to the reviews page is:

http://active-elements.org/evaluations/

Just jump from heading to heading, until you get to Software, and you'll
find the links.

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Subject: Long time no see, from Linda c. Knight. I have questions. <smile.

Good morning Fellow hams,

I first would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy and safe new
year.

We are all good here, just been very busy.

I have decided-though I haven't been on the air in a while to study for my
general license and perhaps start to learn morse code. However, I am not in
a hurry on that. I am excited about studying for my General. I am a part of
a radio club and I am their secretary. How bout that. LOL!

My questions are as follows:

1. What is the best way to learn Morse code. I have cochlear implants,
but I hear quite well with them and I think in time and with persistence and
patience, I can learn it. I probably won't be able to do full speed, but
maybe keep at a comfortable level. I have an iPhone and wondering if there
is an accessible app by which I can learn also.

2. I have a mac pc and wonder if anyone on here knows if the mac has
echo link and how accessible is it?

3. I have the Microsoft pc, but have to get a microphone for it. Can
anyone recommend a mike for the windows pc that will work best with
echolink?

Thank you so much for any tips and stuff.

Hugs and 73
