DDR ram is a specific type of SDRAM. Other types are DDR2 and DDR3, for example.
If you go to Wikipedia and do a search on "DDR SDRAM" they give a more complete explanation.
If you are purchasing it online from an auction, you definitely want it to be DDR no matter where it is listed on that site.
