My job has the potential to bring me into establishments such as bakeries. My employer has requested that I file a request for an accommodation under the Americans with Disability Act and/or the Fair Employment Practices Act. I was diagnosed more than 10 years ago, have had this job since before my diagnosis, and have been allowed to avoid these assignments up to now without filing an official "request for an accommodation". Should I be concerned about such an official filing? I presently have health insurance through my employer, and expect to continue working for at least 10 more years. Many thanks!
