I have Open Office 4.1.1 on my Windows 8.1 computer. The text editor
works fine with Jaws and NVDA. when you press enter on TextDocument, or
whatever its called, you are placed in a blank document, so you just
start typing. To go into the menus, press the alt key, arrow across for
the menus, and arrow down for items in the menus.
The slide show and spreadsheet programs are also accessible though I
haven't used them extensively.
