Oh well, Ron, we all make mistakes.  I had one of those talking watch pens
that someone gave me that I did the same thing with.  Fortunately, I don't
think it got ink stained, but I washed it again just to make sure.  Of
course it ruined the pen or at least the talking function thereof.

Hi Group,

I also used to love those Radio Shack multifunction talking watches.  I 
had one in perfect shape for 4 years until I washed it. Yes, I left it 
in a pocket of my shirt and threw the shirt in the washing machine and 
it never worked again.
