For years he has done a classic country show on KOOP in Austin on Thursday 
mornings. I think he has been there since that station was built.

Hi all, Rod is also an excellent musician!  He plays guitar and mandolin
and maybe other instruments.  I have an interesting recording of Rod and
I jamming at an ARROW Christmas party back in the mid '80's!  ARROW is
the Amateur Radio Repeater of Washtinaw!
