Hi Mike.

Thanks for the info.

Did you buy the setup directly from their wesite or did you find a
dealer?  I ask in case I would need some telephone tech support.

How did you find  tuning the radio on sideband, could you really
zerobeat so to speak and was it easy?

I never found hrd to be very accessible or easy to use and the newer
versions I don't know about because they are paid versions now.

I guess because the front panel of the yaesu was not removable like the
ts480 that you used hrd to control it but plugged your mic in to the
actual remote rig box using it to handle the audio instead of the pc.

 I asume their pc client merely handles the digital protocols but has
nothing in the way of a front panel radio interface.

Can you comment?
