Greetings to the List,
I've been reading a little about D-Star and am considering trying it out. I
don't presently have a D-Star radio. I'm thinking about the ID-51A, as it
has an inbuilt speech synthesiser to read aloud frequency and callsign
information.

I am totally blind.

Are there any blind hams who are using D-Star or who have tried it out? If
so, I'd be interested to hear your views as to its utility and
accessibility.

Many thanks for any help.
Barry VK6SP.
