You can set your browser not to update automatically.  This will help avoid
a lot of those problems.

I am getting the impression that some people have problems like this, while
others don't.

Of course, it doesn't help that our browsers get updated without our
knowledge, thereby making diagnosing a particular issue like this more
difficult than it really needs to be.

Tom, just to let you know, I went to the QRZ website and had no problems at
all. Also, sometimes when I have trouble with a particular website, I go
into the tools menu of my MS IE and arrow down to "compatibility settings"
and then, click on adding the site I'm having problems with and that often
fixes the problem. If that doesn't work or if it makes it even worse, you
can always go back and undo it!
