Hello Richard, I like you would greatly prefer a meter head with provisions
for 1 or 2 remote couplers. I find it much more convenient to run the coax
to a coupler down on the floor under the radio table, with a stereo cord
connecting the coupler to the meter head. I use a lot of LMR600 for my
jumpers, and trying to connect LMR600 directly to the meter on the table is
just about impossible. I like the capability of running two couplers with
my Power Master 2. I use a 3000 watt coupler in my six meter line, and a
10,000 watt coupler in my line to my SteppIr DB36.

Subject: swr meter
Hi;
I'd be perfectly happy with a meter that gave reliable forward
power and swr. A good responsive tone may also help in tuning.
I will be the first to admit that I haven't gone meter showping
in years but wonder if there is a box out there that covers h f
uhf and vhf? It would be nice not to need to purchase two units.
Also an external coupler or two would make connecting the box
much more convenient.
