You do not need to have any other Apple devices. Yes, you can buy movies
through it but I've never done that. I mostly use mine as a music player for
my own CD collection plus the internet radio choices.

Does one need to have another Apple device in order to use the Apple TV
device?  Can we use services like NetFlicks with the Apple TV?
