Hi;
If you can find a samsung haven its a great basic phone and
everything talks. I don't think its being made any longer but I
have seen them used and some stores may have left overs. I'm
using mine with verizon but it works with a number of companies.
best of luck

Hello,
CAN anyone recommend a very basic cell phone with voice
recognition. I want to use the basic phone with no texting etc.
I have ATT and do not want all the bells and whistles.
The only thing I would use on an iphone is the basic phone so do
not really see a need for it.
I would like the phone to offer good signal strength.

Russ, curious how you find that mini to be. Especially where
sound is
concerned. I have an ipod touch 4th gen and it's great but the
speaker is
not even as good as the IPhone speakers I've heard. I've
considered a mini
but am still on the fence. Lou

I was thinking about getting a Nexus 7 to see what android is
like. Two
things stopped me from doing so. The kindle app isn't
accessible and it's
going to be a while before bard mobile will be coming to
android. I ended
up buying an ipad mini to go along with my ipod touch 5th
generation.

Hi John, learning to use a touch screen is deffinatly a learning
curve,
but once you get the hang of it, you will be glad you did! I am
still
trying to talk Aimee into an I-phone but she hasn't taken the
plunge yet!
