  The text files are probably all you will need.  But Harold, W9DIK, is 
having Horizons for the Blind (Chicago area) transcribe the TS590 manual 
into multiple braille volumes.  I don't know when or if the work is 
completed, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind selling more copies of this 
transcription.  For more information, ask W9DIK the next time you find him 
on one of the nets.  I don't think he does e-mail.

Subject: Menu info for Kenwood 480/590

Has anyone produced either a Braille or text file version of the menus and
their choices for the Kenwood 480 or 590?  I just picked up a super clean
480SAT which I will use exclusively on six meters to drive my legal limit
amp, and a local blind ham is going to buy a 590, and has asked me to help
him learn to use the radio.  Having an accessible version of the menus and
their choices would therefore be of great help.
