Matt,

The UV5R usually is talking out of the box. Menu 14 is titled voice prompts
which will let you change between english, chinese and off.

Subject: Baofeng Radios

Hi, folks. I'm getting a new Baofeng radio tomorrow the UV5R+. How
do I get the thing to talk out of the box, or where can I find the
link to get a manual? Thanks in advance.--Matt, N1IBB.
