To echo what others have said, the TS590 is a rig that has numerous 
functions and features, some of which will be of interest to different hams, 
depending upon their main operating modes.

I,too, have a TS590, and still find and learn new functions occasionally. 
With that being said, there are still many functions of the rig that I just 
don't use, but it's good to know they are there if needed someday.

I will admit, however, that even though the 590 is probably the most 
accessible rig out there, it is a rig with a rather steap learning curve.
