Yeah don't know about that but do know that the audio sounds just fine.

it's made by Tongdaxin and the model is TDX1 Q8.
The description indicates voice prompts, so it's probably similar to the
baofeng uv5r and wouxun uvd1p radios.
60 bucks though compared to 40 on average for the uv5r.
Dual watch, well, the uv5r has that, so I wonder if it has dual receive or
just dual watch like most of the chinese HT's already have.
Looks like the harmonic emissions are well within legal specs though which
is a nice improvement.
both part 90 and part 97 certified as well.
These should be on ebay for 40 bucks if anyone cares to look.
Says nothing about keypad or DTMF capability.
