Howard,

I was playing in the New York contest this weekend and didn't get into 
the Stew Perry (SP).  This one is considered the "warm-up" for the 
"real" SP 160 contest at the end of December.  Conditions on 160 should 
be a lot better then.   Grid squares are used  to figure distance 
between the stations with  1 point for QSO and an extra point for each 
500 km of distance  between stations.   Maybe I'll see you there in 
December.
