Made this for my birthday tonight. Roben Ryberg's sponge cake recipe (made by hubby). Filling is apricot. Topping is ganache I made from 1 pkg dairy free chocolate chips and one cup culinary coconut milk and a dash vanilla...melted together till shiny. Carefully pour over cake!!!!
Added raspberries because I happen to find delicious ones.

To make it sachet torte, you'd have had to make the sponge cake chocolate, and poke rum in the filling. I hate rum.

Instead of making the sheet cake I was hoping for, I made this dairy free, and my hubby is turning a second sponge cake into his 3 later strawberry shortcake...as is. Not converting to sheet cake or cup cakes.
