Hi Vicki,
Sorry for the slow response, haven't checked my mail in a few days.
I'm sorry to hear of your dad's passing, but know he is in a far better place.
When my mom passed away, a few days after having leg amputation
surgery on 9-11, it was devistating to me. Although I knew she was
in a better place, at the time, the old clichets just sounded
trite. I also kept thinking I would get a call from her on the
phone, or want to call and ask about some thing or other.
I still miss her from time to time, but cherish the good memories we
had together; and you should do that as well. Hopefully before he
died, your dad came to know Jesus as his Savior.
Lots of love,
Jackie
