I don't recall what you're trying to do, but I assume you're trying to 
export your IE favorites from one computer into Firefox bookmarks on 
another. If so, you can follow the instructions at 
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-ie-favorites-other-computer

There's another page if you're doing this on the same computer under 
Windows. You should find that page from the above page if you need it.

Basically, in firefox you want to go into the Bookmarks pulldown and 
select "Show all bookmarks". In the applet that opens up, go to the 
Import and Export pulldown from the menu bar. If you need more details, 
check out the page above or just ask.
