Don't let it intimidate you, it's just a box full of electrons.
If you really get in a jam, no crime in doing a partial or full reset.
The free Kenwood ARCP-590 software will let you back up your menus and
memories so you can reload after a reset. If you ever do a firmware
update, a reset is the final part of the process, so it would be good
to have a backup file available.
