You have to buy the second generation stream. The old one doesn't have the
same hardware. Yes, there are people buying the old ones.

I have one of the early models of the VR Stream, which I absolutely love,
but after hearing about all of the features and uses of this new model that
you are all talking about, I'm thinking seriously about purchasing one of
the new models, unless my older model can be up-graded to the new model
version. Do any of you know if the first models of VR Stream can be
up-graded to the newest version? If not, is there any market for this early
version? What do you think it is worth? Mine is in perfect condition. I use
it mostly for listening to NLS books.
