That is a good idea, because after April their will be no more security 
updates from Microsoft.  That will make xp a prime target for the bad guys, 
and ie8 will be their favorite door to get in.  Firefox works well with 
speech.  Press control-l rather than control-o to open a file.  You can 
import your ie favorites in to firefox.  You can also use webvism, which 
will OCR captias for you.  Very cool!
