I don't know.  I would suggest you check with RT Systems.  I don't know what
radio you are thinking of using.  I do know that the RT Systems software is
designed to work with their cables.  I don't know about any other cable
configurations.  As I said check with RT Systems for authoritative
information.

Hi Trevor,

I have been using the RT Systems software for a while.  All the packages
that I've used are speech-friendly and only work with the NVDA screenreader.


In addition the programming cable has some sort of a chip-set in it that
loads the correct drivers and mates the cable to your system.  The whole
interface is frictionless and works extremely well.
