Hello Tom, I just tracked the number down 15 minutes ago. Thanks for taking
the time to write me. I spoke with Duane a long time ago, and frankly
couldn't find his contact info on my computer. I will give him a call
tomorrow and see what he has to say. The worst he can do is say no, Hi. As
for the TW-1 being inaccurate, you got that right. When mine says I am
running 1500 watts forward, I am actually running about 2300 forward. I
have to be careful so that it doesn't say that I am running its maximum of
2000 watts.

Alan:

The phone number for LDG is:

(410) 586-2177.

The main contact person there is Duane Kincade.

I talked with Duane several years ago about providing the schematics and
other documentation for the TW1 design, and at that time, he did not seem
opposed, so long as the person requesting the material had a genuine
interest in following through with the building of comparable units.

Even though the TW1 does leave a bit to be desired regarding SWR accuracy,
it is certainly better than nothing, and can give the user at least a
general indication of how things look.
