Hi Everyone,

Please continue to pray for us.

I thought I would give you an update on my last doctor visit at the
Mitchell Avera Cancer Institute on Thursday, October 30th 2014.

I saw Doctor Stephen Dick, the Radiation Oncologist last Thursday in
the Avera Cancer Institute in Mitchell, SD

It looks like I'll only have about 5 weeks of Pelvic radiation, 5
days a week, which is good.

I'm not sure when they will start treatment, and I'm not sure if I
will be able to stay in the Hospitality House in Mitchell. I sure
hope so, though as the driving 140 miles each day for 5 weeks will
not be favorable for neither myself or Vernon.

They want a donation of $20.00 a night for me to stay at the
Hospitality House. They will just have to accept what we can afford
to give them.

I think I can get Meals On Wheels for my noon meal, but I might have
to pay for them.

They will do an MRI on Wednesday, November 5th to determine how deep
the tumer is.

If the tumer is not deep they will stick with the plan of 5 weeks of radiation.

If the tumer is deep, they will do an additional 3 treatments of
direct local radiation to the tumer. This must be done in Sioux Falls.

They will do a Cat Scan on Thursday, November 6th to prepare me for
radiation and to mark me.

Please pray that I will be able to stay at the Hospitality House in
Mitchell during my stay for Radiation treatments.

Please also pray that they will have a volunteer there during the day.

I'm responsible for my own meals and they have a shuttle to get from
the house to the Hospital for my treatments.

Vernon would come and get me and bring me home on the weekends.

We do very much appreciate that God did provide a nice Blessing in
the form of a check from a Cancer Care group here in town last Friday.

This will help with traveling, lodging and meals.

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

Pat Ferguson
