I don't have to worry about that because I'm only running 600 watts PEP 
through it.  Of course, if the SWR is sky-high, one never knows.

Lloyd, I chuckled when you just mentioned that you are running some old
RG213.  Several weeks back I noticed a intermittent blast of QRN which I
felt was emanating from within my shack.  Turned out that I had failed to
replace this one 6 foot piece of RG213 and melted the dielectric and ended
up shorting the center conductor to the braid, HiHi.
