Hi Tom,
I'm already incredibly impressed with your current time management, and the
time you give to the hobby. It's not easy fitting in a challenging career
along with amateur radio.
I took my licence in 1996 and I reckon it took about 10 years to light the
touch paper, and for the hobby to really take off. It's the thing I love
about ham radio, it's always there, just waiting for you to pick it up or
put it down!!!
Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Kelvin:
I am firmly convinced about the importance and true advantages of L O T W.
... So no worries on that score! (smile)
My only problem now is finding the time to get everything up and running,
and to configure the system in a way that will work best for me.
With my full-time teaching year continuing for the next 8 weeks, the L O T W
project may have to wait until the summer, but it is at the top of my list
of software projects for that time.
And, maybe, if things go a bit more smoothly than I'm now expecting, perhaps
I can get a start on it sooner.
Will keep you posted.

Hi Again Tom,
If you need an incentive to get onto LOTW, I see I have 299 entities
confirmed electronically, just one more for DXCC 300. I've not needed to
send off any cards to ARRL, and for a blind op, it's just terrific!
