I must say it's sound is a big improvement over my ipod touch 5th 
generation.  My ipod touch 5th generation was a improvement over my ipod 
touch 4th generation.  I mainly got it as a book reading device.  I started 
reading a book on it from bard and what a big difference over my ipod touch. 
It's sound is so much better than my victor reader stream, booksense and 
plextalk pocket.  It also sounds great for podcasts.  I like it's longer 
battery life.

Russ, curious how you find that mini to be.  Especially where sound is
concerned.  I have an ipod touch 4th gen and it's great but the speaker is
not even as good as the IPhone speakers I've heard.  I've considered a mini
but am still on the fence.  Lou
