I'll certainly mention to Scott the accessibility success. 
As for the RSB-1, it's Icom's rig control software. It runs on the 7000 series, excluding the 706, 718, 746/7400 and the756. There's a server component that permits control over the Internet. 
This software isn't free, costs about 120USD. You can also buy an accessory from Icom that has a VFO tuning knob and 4 programable buttons. This accessory connects to a USB to give the user a real radio feel.
