Hi Albert,

Good luck, let's know how that goes.

I nearly lost my antennas when the cable slipped on the winch while I was doing a minor repair to the 6M quad. I had to support the HF boom with scaffold poles, whilst I refitted the cable to the winch and hauled the antenna back up. It seems to have survived, more by luck than judgement there.

It never ceases to amaze me how something can work for years without difficulty then go wrong in such a bizarre way.
