8 grand Canadian hey? Can get an FTDX-5000D and accessories or an IC-7600 with accessories plus a  1KW Ameritron amp for that. Lol 
Even 4 FT-102s for that who's receiver is just as gd as the 5000, 7600 with a 3rd order intercept point of 108DBN.
