Just a guess.  I think you could get a Usb Headset and put it in the USB 
port.  The TS-590 supports USB audio.  But, I don't know if you have do that 
and have the handmike also connected.

Maybe you could have someone build you a box that would have the PF buttons 
on it and a connector to hook your headset mike to that way.
