And if it has already been turned on and you missed your opportunity, you 
can also get started (with sighted help) by going to Settings, General, 
Accessibility, VoiceOver and turning it on there.  There are some older iPod 
Touch models that don't run VoiceOver, but if it is being sold as new it 
should have VoiceOver.
