Is that scanner the one that's very similar to the pro-2006 but with less 
channels and a little less coverage? If so, I think the key pad is the same. 
Also, to reset those, you're right, put something in the hole in the back 
but you usually have to hold it for around 15 or 30 seconds too. If I had 
that scanner in front of me I'm sure I could figure it out, I have played 
with one but it's been so long I just can't remember it.
